The opposition Peoples Democratic Party PDP, has reported that its witnesses that were supposed to testify at the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal for the Party today were attacked by unknown gunmen.

This was revealed by the lead counsel for the party and Atiku/Obi at the Tribunal, Dr. Livy Uzoukwu on Friday.

Uzoukwu informed the court that the witnesses were attacked on their way from their various destinations as they were coming to the court to testify against the fraud in the last February 23, 2019 elections.

In view of the above information, the Trial Judge, Justice Mohammed Garba has adjourned hearing on the @OfficialPDPNig and @atiku/@PeterObi’s Petition to Monday, the 15th of July 2019.
It’s time to #RescueNigeria.

Atiku Abubakar, PDP presidential candidate, is currently at the tribunal challenging the victory of President Muhammadu Buhari in the 2019 presidential election.

The electoral commission had declared that Buhari polled 15,191,847 votes to defeat the former vice-president who secured 11, 262,978 but Atiku said figures from INEC server showed he polled 18,356,732 votes while Buhari secured 16,741,430 votes.
