It is certainly not a good time to poke fun of a situation currently putting the world in a stand still. No, not when over 30,000 lives have perished with over a million people infected with the novel coronavirus.

But for whatever reasons, former senator who represented Kaduna central in the 8th Senate, Senator Shehu Sani, has in a recent, took a subtle jibe at members of the nation's National Assembly following reports that many might have been exposed to the coronavirus.

It is also likely that the former Senator's actual target, is his bitter political rival, Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna State, who announced yesterday March 28th, that he has tested positive to the highly infectious virus.

Sani in his tweet, suggested that some highly placed individuals in the country thought they were unmovable until the arrival of COVID-19, and power had to change hands.

He said, "Lion the King of the Jungle, Virus the King of the City."

Following his tweet, a follower with the name Zainab @female_girll, asked, "Sir, are you Quarantined?"

His comical response was, "The queue dey long, e no reach retired senators yet."

Meanwhile, Covid-19 cases continues to spread across the country with total confirmed cases now eying the 100 mark. As Lagos State continues to top list of cases in the country.
