Late Abba Kyari & Aisha Abba Kyari
Family of Late Chief of Staff to President Muhamadu Buhari, Abba Kyari, has asked critics of their father to allow his soul rest in peace.

The daughter of the deceased, Aisha Abba Kyari, said if her father was the root of Nigerians problems, now that he is gone their problem is also gone. She appeal to Nigerians to allow them to mourn their father.

Recall that diverse reactions had trailed the death of the 67-year-old, who died due to coronavirus complications.

Ex-Commissioner for works and Infrastructure in Kano State, Muazu Magaji had rejoiced on social media, over Kyari’s death.

This led Kano State Governor, Umar Ganduje to sack the Commissioner after the criticism.

Reacting on her Instagram page, Aisha asked Nigerians who claimed Kyari was the root of their problems to allow his soul rest In peace.

She wrote, “My daddy, Abba Kyari is gone. Evil ones still won’t shut up. You all claimed he was the root of your problems when he was alive, now he is gone, surely all your problems died with him. Allow us that love him grieve and mourn in peace.

“And Dear Lola Omotayo and co that were so curious about his whereabout, I hope now that you know exactly where he is you are sleeping better at night.”

Kyari was described as a man who was 'many things to different people.' To some, he was a very good man who unfortunately was misunderstood my many, while to others, he's responsible for most of the troubles facing the country due to his great influence on the president himself.

While it's true that not everyone liked the late Chief of Staff to the President, former Aviation Minister Chief Femi Fani-Kayode, who is known for his relentless criticism of the Buhari administration, surprised many when he said Kyari was a good man and not the devil many had made of him.

He said, "If only you knew how many lives he saved. If only you knew how he at least attempted to build bridges between Christians and Muslims and between northerners and southerners behind closed doors.

"If only you knew how hard he fought to ensure that the war against terror was properly waged. If only you knew the forces that opposed his moderate stand from within.

"If only you knew how much he was hated by some very key members of the Buhari administration who envied him and who felt that had it not been for him they could have pillaged the treasury far more than they were already doing and created even more enemies for the President than he already had.

"If only you knew that most of the rubbish being written in the media about him was being sponsored and spread to a gullible public by key members of the Buhari administrstion who were trying to discredit him and get the Presideht to fire him.

"Simply put had it not been for him many more lives would have been lost in the war against terror and many more people would have been kiIIed by Boko Haram and the Fulani herdsmen.

"Some say he was the leader of the cabal. This is a cabal in which seasoned and skillful old war horses and elderly and ancient northern political veterans and warriors like Mamman Daura, Zangon Daura, Mahmoud Tukur, Ismaila Isa Funtua, Lawal Daura, Baba Gana Kingibe and many others that were far older and more experienced than him are members of?

"A cabal that has been in existence and in power since the 1980's when he was still at University? This does not make sense. He was a powerful Chief of Staff but he was far from being head of the cabal or being de facto President. That much I can assure you.

"If it had been any different many of those that were still in office at the time of his death would not have been there anymore because he would have fired them long ago.

"God alone sees the heart and knows who is who. Let Him be the judge and let Him call each and every one of us to account for our deeds and misdeeds."
